SUMMARY: Located in Lido di Marausa, Western Sicily (near Trapani) and just 2 minutes walk from Villa Anna - The house can sleep two couples or a family of 4-5 in its two bedrooms. It has an internal kitchen/diner and a semi external veranda kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has a fridge-freezer, microwave, gas oven/hobs, washing machine and all the utensils you will need. The internal bathroom has a convenient walk in shower, complemented by an outdoor shower for when you return from the sandy beach.

LAYOUT: Villetta May is set in tranquil surroundings and is ideal if you wish to have a break in the countryside, with the sound of cicadas for company. Peace, privacy and tranquility come as standard, as the nearest house is over 100 metres away. Set amidst our own vineyard, alongside vegetable patches, fruit trees and olive groves, the setting is undeniably rural. The rustic charater is complemented by all the salvaged antique farming equiment you'll find dotted around the property. In the last 15 years the Eucalyptus, Pine and Palm trees have grown to a decent height and give good shade. However, the veranda also provides shade from the hot Sicilian sun. The driveway is lit and allows secure car parking. You are a 5 minute walk from the nearest beachside Bar, 10 minutes from the nearest coastal restaurant and between 5-15 minutes walk from the main local beaches.

Part of the garden is landscaped with a variety of indgenous plants and cacti, grapevines, tomato plants, orange, peach, lemon, fig and olive trees, palms, and pines. If they are ready or ripe, you can help yourselves to the grapes, figs, tomatoes and other fruit that grow on our land. The detached nature of the house is such that there are always shaded areas or sunny areas throughout the day - ideal for the sun worhippers and shade-lovers alike. The screens around the wooden veranda can also be closed at night so that you can sit outside without being bothered by mosquitoes. Also at night, with the external lights switched off you are in a sea of darkness and will be able to stargaze without any annoying city glare. To the rear of the house is a small crazy golf course, meticulously crafted by our father and available for guests to use throughout the day and into the evening. There are seating areas dotted around and the views of mount Erice just 10km away are uninterrupted and refreshing.
