SUMMARY: Located in the Tritoni quarter of Marausa Lido, Casa Tritoni sits just a tantalising 30 metres from the beach at the end of the private road upon which it sits. The ground floor apartment comprises 2 bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, a kitchen, and a living room all tastefully decorated and furnished in a style that echoes the simple and harmonious colours of the Mediterranean. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge-freezer, gas hobs and electric grill, washing machine and all the cookware, crockery and cutlery you will need. Bedding and pillows are also provided, as are towels for the bathroom and beach. The apartment is fully accessible to all on one level with only a 4cm high doorstep at the entrance. There is a small selection of guidebooks and tourist guides.

LAYOUT: The exterior of the house comprises a spacious courtyard and a covered veranda where you can laze the sunny afternoons away or use to relax in after a long day on the beach or exploring western Sicily. There is a brick built BBQ and pizza oven and the garden furniture allows you to eat outdoors day or night. The garden is securely gated and fenced and beautifully planted and is suitable for families with children. Accessible by car by either the coastal road serving the Marausa Lido resort or the Posidonie road that loops to the rear, You are a seconds from the beaches and a 5-15 minute walk from the nearest beach Lido Bar and Restaurant. The road is private and gated and there is no passing traffic or traffic noise. At night you can hear the waves lapping on the beach and you can take a swim whenever you feel like it. While the property does not have air conditioning, the large windows and proximity to the sea keep it fresh and cool. However, ceiling fans are fitted in the living room and both bedrooms should you need them. The price of the rental includes use of teh washing machine, all water, electricity and a final clean.

The first floor is owned by the same landlord (our cousin) but is only used during the July-August period by his own family so it is very unlikely that you will be disturbed. This aspect can be further clarified once you make a rental enquiry. The view from the roof terrace above the first floor apartment is rare in Marausa Lido in that it offers one of the very few uninterrupted 360º panoramic views of the Egadi Islands, Medieval mount Erice and the Sicilian countryside. Come evening, wander down to the beach and watch longingly as the sun sets over the Egadi Islands and the stars begin to appear in the sky.
