A Little Bit About Us

1991-2011 - 20 Years of Villa Holidays!
We are a small family business who have been offering our villas as holiday homes since 1991. In that time, we have hosted over 400 guests and built up a wealth of experience to help you have one of the best holidays you will ever have. We guarantee that there are no agents and the owners are either ourselves, our cousins or our uncles and aunts. We happily offer these quality homes to you and care about your holiday experience. During 2011 our company name will change from get2sicily to puresicily.

Guests from all over Europe keep telling us that our communication and customer service are excellent and that although nothing is too much to ask of our 'bilingual on-site representative' (our father Mario who lives nearby) he does not intrude on your holiday at all. Company History

As we said, it all started in 1991 as our family grew up and began to use our holiday villa by the sea in Trapani less frequently. We started with occasional rentals to friends and work colleagues who kept telling us that we were sitting on an golden egg. By 1998, things were picking up, and we launched our first website in 2001. Four years later, we heard Ryanair were considering Trapani as a base and we decided to up our game by redecorating Villa Anna, rebranding ourselves as 'get2sicily' (as in 'get-to-sicily') and launching a fully revamped website.
	Early days... The evolution of our website
. The turning point did indeed come in 2007 when the first Ryanair 737's began landing at Trapani Airport - cutting out the drive from Palermo airport and slashing £200 off the airfare from the UK. The golden egg was about to hatch and our experience was to help put us ahead of local competition. In 2010 we began advertising our villas with Perfect Getaways and Getaway Earth - both of whom have consistently impressed us by setting benchmarks in both customer service and innovative publicity in the holiday home rentals market - *and* staying true to their roots (a lot like us!). We are more passionate than ever about the unexploited region of Trapani in Western Sicily, and would love to sharing it with you!

Over the last 2 years Trapani airport's annual passenger numbers have risen from 30,000 to 1.1 million from some 30+ airports all over Europe. As a result, our guests are no longer exclusively British and often do not understand the phonetic pun our name is based upon - nor does it translate very well. We intend to continue using the get2sicily addresses for now, but during 2011 we will be adding 'puresicily' as an online presence.

	We know western Sicily very well and can offer an array of up-to-date suggestions about where to visit and what to experience that you wont find in guidebooks. Once you book you will have access to our exclusive suggested itineraries and maps to help you plan your holiday. We will also be nearby when you are on holiday if you need help or advice during your stay.
	How We Keep Our Prices Low
	To keep our rental prices low, we do all our own web stuff, leaflet and brochure design and customer services. So, while we dont necessarily have the fanciest website, it does mean that we can guarantee 100% control over our costs. We are passionate about what we do and continue to build relationships with local Restaurants and windsurfing and diving schools in the area.
Our prices are clear and straightforward and we tell you what is included and what will cost extra. Our prices are ALWAYS very reasonable - so contact us if you have a serious enquiry. .

Are We Sustainable?
We have been environmentally conscious since 1975 and encourage our guests to use local markets and shops and offset their carbon footprint in getting there. Every page of our website links to our Sustainability page which contains a wealth of detail about how Green we are.
